bitter sweet

i finally understand that phrase. its tossed around a lot. used as an example for some term in English or to spice up a conversation with some tricky lingo. well ive always known what it means, but now i understand it, for me atleast. i used it today to describe something and it just clicked.

oh bittersweetness, you make me feel sad joy. perhaps sorrowful bliss? or even depressing happiness.


on a related note, isnt it crazy when it seems like your life is a tv show and everything is scripted? When you sing a song and then it appears in the next movie you see? or maybe you think about getting milkshakes and the person next to you asks you if you want to get one? happens to me too often. it freaks me out. what if this life is scripted? what if i am Jim Carey from the Truman Show and my life is the set for a hit reality tv show. Could they be taping me right now? if my life is scripted, please give me a happy ending. i enjoy those. oh and a pie getting thrown in someones face would be amazing, or just pie. if this life of mine is a tv show i tell ya its not as good as the ones i see on tv. those writers need to get crackin.


the irony in this song, the timing, the everything. the fact that i found it a while back, and now, oh how it fits in right now. maybe a week or 2 late but still. this means my life has to be scripted.
